Free Valentine Printable

iloveyou_8x10

Thanks to good ole Pinterest, I found this pretty Valentine print that is offered for free from Persnickety Prints.  Wasn’t that sweet of them? <3

My boyfriend has a wireless printer that you can email stuff to directly and it will print the attachment.  I think I’ll download this little lovely and have it delivered to his printer.  Thank you technology!

Coffee mug + Sharpie

025

Ok, I had to jump on the decorated coffee mug bandwagon after seeing such cute ones on Pinterest.  The tutorial on Beautiful Mess really explains it well; how to do it and how well it holds up afterward.
I did just as they said, 30 minutes at 350 degrees.  It came out beautifully but I made the mistake of grabbing the handle with my oven mitt and it smeared the dots I made.  You have to let it cool before you can touch it.  I haven’t yet tried to wash it but I think I’ll just stick with the suggested hand-washing.
Have you tried this technique?  What about the ceramic paint?  I’d really like to delve into that since I’m a dishwasher girl.

Thank God for Pinterest.  Right?  The creator is an absolute genius and I believe Pinterest is the best thing to come along since the seam ripper.  It allows us to explore what was previously undiscovered and opens up a whole new world of inspirations, dreams, desires, things we’ve never seen, things we’ve never known, new ideas, a world of pretties.  Without Pinterest, a lot of us would still be poking around Facebook and the few other blogs or websites we usually visit not knowing what else is out there!  I’ve been so inspired by Pinterest, like so many of you, that I’m going to devote Mondays to Pinterest finds on Abernathy Crafts.
