Colored votives
Lovely colored votives look so happy, don’t they?
My kids made sun catchers the other day and there was a lot of paint leftover. The paint was perfect for painting glass, obviously, so I painted some glass votives I had on hand. Whether washed in sunlight or holding a dancing flame, these colored votives add a bit of happy to the room!

I really really love and appreciate comments, but i hate spam.
Due to the heavy amount of spam comments I've been receiving lately I had to put the word verification up. I know how annoying it can be when you want to leave a comment but I hope you will understand.
Would you be so kind to take the extra step to post your thoughts?

Very pretty! I love candles but never light them... not sure why!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm kind of the same way. Luckily, these votives will look lovely in a window sill.
DeleteCan you give me more information on what kind of paint you used? I've been wanting to do the same kind of thing and cannot seem to find transparent paint. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThe paint I used came in a kit for making sun catchers. I would love to find just the paint. I love the effect it has on glass
DeleteGreat IDEA! Hope that these nice candles add an elegant touch to the home.
